Hello, I'm Erica.

I found fluid painting by accident. It came up on Facebook and it looked really cool, so I started watching YouTube videos and subscribed to a couple of tutorials. It's 70% luck and 30% skill. I had ideas of what I wanted it to look like, but it didn't always come out that way — and that's part of the joy. It's fun to put colors together that you normally don't see. I kept watching, found different methods for accomplishing what I wanted, and discovered it's total creative freedom.

I discovered my love of photography after the birth of my son. I spent hours a day practicing, taking pictures of him, waiting for the right smile, that right little expression. From there it grew into nature photography. There has always been a peace for me when I'm out in nature, and being able to capture that moment is really quite special.
